Ruth Beckermann is a filmmaker from Austria. She studied in Paris and New York, spent many years working as a journalist in Switzerland. She shares her observations of history and immigration through her works.
About event
Every work of the Austrian director Ruth Beckermann is extraordinary to the extreme. Last year her film “The Dreamed Ones” was the center of heated discussions at all major film festivals. We decided to remember how her creative path began and to host the retrospective of the film “Towards Jerusalem”. After the screening the viewers will have a chance to talk to the extraordinary documentarist about her past works and future plans.
