Gilad Baram is an Israeli photographer, graphic artist and documentaries director, who lives between Berlin and Jerusalem. From 2009 to 2012 Baram worked as an assistant to photographer Josef Koudelka. Has also worked in Israeli film and television industry. “Koudelka Shooting Holy Land” is Baram’s directorial debut.
About event
The filmographic work by Gilad Baram aims to show changes that photography undergoes in the age of digital media. A fascinating dialogue emerges between moving images filmed by Baram and Koudelka’s still photographs as Baram places the photographer within his own breathtaking compositions. This film has received multiple grants and awards and was shown at art venues all around the world. The viewers will have a chance to speak with its author Gilad Baram after the screening.
