Konstantin Fam is a screenwriter, director and producer. Creator of the trilogy “Witnesses”, an international project dedicated to the memory of the Holocaust victims. Recipient of multiple Russian and international film awards. President of the Ark Foundation fund for Jewish cinema.

The trilogy “Witnesses” is set in the middle of the 20th century in Eastern Europe. The military-historical drama recounts the history of the Holocaust through eyes of its unintentional voiceless witnesses. Inconspicuous clues can often help us to reconnect with our families through centuries and to learn more about ourselves. The film screening will be followed by a discussion with its director Konstantin Fam. He will talk about ways in which seeking one’s roots and building an identity can influence the creative journey.
