Toma Nuevo is a teacher, dancer, choreographer, dance coach, osteopathic practitioner. Studied with Ohad Naharin at a certification program for Gaga teachers at Batsheva Dance.

As part of the screening of documentary “Bobbi Jene”, a story of a woman who dances, fights for her independence and bravely faces its consequences, we offer the guests of the Festival an entirely unusual dancing workshop by Toma Nuevo. “We are not going to copy particular moves or forms. Each participant can actively explore instructions through movement, discovering how he or she can interpret information and perform tasks. Through imagery we will engage mindfulness into the secret corners of our bodies and our attention”, says the teacher of the dancing workshop. Please remember to wear clothes that won’t constrain your movements.
