The documentary program of the 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival has been announced.

Documentary film works are the most important part of the Moscow Jewish Film Festival program. This year it is represented by bright projects of directors from different corners of the globe, which are devoted to acute social problems, personal stories of the creators and not only.

The section will present the biographical films «The Wild One» (directed by Tessa Louise-Salomé, France, USA, 2022), «Conquering Time – Agnes Keleti» (directed by Kata Olah, Hungary, 2022), biographical doc «1341 Frames Of Love And War» (directed by Ran Tal, Israel, USA, UK, 2022).

Egor Sennikov, curator of the documentary film program of the 8th MJFF:

The documentary program of the 8th MJFF, as always, is built on diversity, on the desire to show not only the best films, but also to introduce the viewer to new and unusual stories. From a champion who survived the Holocaust and lived to be 100 years old to the story of a shopping mall in Tel Aviv, from the story of a professional war photographer to the biography of a theater director who survived 11 сoncentration camp. The films in the documentary program unfold stories of the past and present, showing life in all its authentic diversity.
