The best Russian Jewish film of the year was selected Sergei Ursulyak's «Tzadik».

On September 3, the 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival was inaugurated at the Oktyabr Cinema Center. During the ceremony, Sergei Ursulyak's film «Tzadik» received the Yakov Kaller Award of the 8th Moscow Jewish Film Festival for the best Russian Jewish film of the year. The award was presented by Boris Reitzen, a member of Yakov Kaller's family. The prize for the film was awarded to Timur Weinstein, general producer of the film and general producer of the NTV TV channel.

Timur Weinstein, general producer of the film «Tzadik":

The fate of the movie began with Yakov Kaller, so what is happening now is amazing. 12 years ago, he and I met, and he told me about Kiselev's list. I was amazed by this story, and from that moment the work on this movie began. There were many scripts, we met with people who were still alive at that time. Nikolai Kiselev's public garden was opened ... Yakov Kaller did everything possible to make this man's name really ring out. Then Yakov Kaller was gone. But I am sure that he would have liked the movie very much, because it was really done with a soul. I thank the whole team of the picture, and especially Yakov Kaller. He did everything he could to make Nikolai Kiselev's name iconic. The fact that this movie received the Yakov Kaller Award is fate.
