About film
This movie is about Jason's life. He is stuck at a bad stage in his life: his wife has died, leaving him with his son Tommy, his standup comic career is failing, so he has to work part-time in Los Angeles as a cab driver. In order not to upset Tommy, his father makes up a story that mom now lives in Little Town, a small town that they will definitely stop by, just not today.
One day, Jason's cab is hopped into by Lauren, who hires him just to go to Little Town. On the way to the fictional town, the companion teaches father and son how to ask for help, shout on the prairie when it's bad, and meditate for answers, while also spraying negative energy spray on everyone's troubles. A funny, sometimes tragic, and most importantly — a poignant road movie about experiencing the death of a loved one, finding your way in life and the ability not to give up.
